To prepare for a competition you will be invited to upload images onto the club competition website http://www.photocontestpro.com
Our Competition Secretary will send you details of the timing and quantity of your uploads in good time.
The format should be:
dimensions: maximum of 1600 pixels wide, 1200 pixels high,
format: jpg
colour space: sRGB.
The file name should be the title of your image only.
Details of OPS Guide to resizing images and OPS Guide to entering Digital Projection Competitions are attached.
For those of you new to the club, there is a series of three DPI competitions during the year. 1 point is awarded for every entry. First, second, third, highly commended and commended images score additional points. All points are aggregated at the end of the year.
For many of us, hearing the judge’s comments and suggestions, and seeing the work of other members, is far more important than the points.
