The Street and Documentary Special Interest Group comprises of members who participate in all forms of Street and Documentary photography
Street, or to give it its current term, Contemporary Photography is defined by RPS as “Photography that conveys ideas, stimulates thought and encourages interpretation; photographs ‘about’ rather than ‘of'”
Documentary Photography as suggested by the RPS communicates a clear narrative through visual literacy. It can be applied to the photographic documentation of social, cultural, historical and political events.
