The Oxford Photographic Society annual ‘Take Five’ competition took place on 25 September and saw Naomi Roberts return to the club to take a clear win with some stunning portrait photography. Last year’s ‘Take Five’ winner Dave Atkinson was pushed into third place in 2018 as Nigel Finch took second position with both men entering some excellent wildlife images.
Naomi Roberts said: “I’m thrilled to win the Take Five after five years away. It’s good to be back” and Naomi certainly had a strong win leading the field by 28 points.
The competition sees club members put forward five recent images which are all scored blind by the members who attend on the ‘Take Five’ evening. Around forty members of the club participated with subject matter spanning several genres of photography.
