Faye Dunmall – “INTIMATE LANDSCAPES – Tuition Session”
14 December @ 19:30 - 21:30
With our INTIMATE LANDSCAPES competition on the horizon we Felt there was need for some guidance about what the category means – where can we find an intimate landscape – how can we capture the emotions they engender?
Faye is a fine art landscape and nature photographer from Bedfordshire in the UK.
Her interest in photography began 4 years ago on a holiday to Jordan. Inspired by the vast, fiery red landscapes of Wadi Rum she returned home with a burning desire to visually document the beauty of the world we live in. Since then she has endeavoured to learn all she can about photography and has travelled extensively around the UK and Europe with a camera in hand.
Although her passion for photography began with vast vistas, she has a current appreciation for more subtle imagery that conveys a sense of emotion and captures a specific, unrepeatable moment in time. There’s a certain kind of beauty in impermanence, a certain kind of magic in a moment.
Sand patterns created by a receding tide.
A millisecond of golden light. The perfect wave.
