“The Idle Rich Rambles on…” – Club photography with Leo Rich @ ZOOM
May 4 @ 19:15 – 21:30

“The Idle Rich Rambles on………”

Not another slide show? It is another miscellany of different subjects which he has covered during many years of club photography.

Having resisted the need to “go Digital” he is now teetering on the brink of a film-less world.

As he has 40+ years of mouldy slides lurking in various cupboards he has selected what he considers some of the best and put them together in one final attempt to try and convince camera clubs that he can take a half decent snap.

Please view this sympathetically as he is about to jump into the unknown and never be heard of again.

Idle the Rich maybe but it does not deter him from putting together yet another talk. If you thought his previous efforts were piecemeal and a little zany you ought to see this one!

His carer and long suffering wife, Carolyn, sat through one trial and as a result it was swiftly updated. He has struggled trying to put together an acceptable series of pictures and, when time allows, continues to review the current offering. This is proving a test of his, dubious, tenacity to get the job done – maybe a booking will spur him on??

A Project Based Approach To Photography – with David Keep @ ZOOM
May 11 @ 19:15 – 21:30

David Keep

David is passionate about all forms of photography & confesses to spending far too much time doing it! However, he describes himself as an image maker not a photographer as he enjoy the post-processing as much as he does taking the photo.

We’re all looking to create powerful images that stand out from the crowd – David will describe his approach in trying to achieve this aim by taking a logical, project based approach.  From initial concept, contact building, planning and shooting, right through to the processing techniques he uses on some of his award winning images, nothing will be held back!
