We welcome members, old and new, back to the Silverband Hall for a new season at Oxford Photographic Society. Whether you come to share your latest images, exchange ideas, learn new techniques, or simply enjoy an evening in the company of fellow photographers, we hope you’ll find plenty to enjoy in the months ahead.

To open the season, we’re delighted to welcome award-winning photographer Paul Sansome for what promises to be a fascinating evening. Paul has received major awards in the Travel Photographer of the Year, Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Landscape Photographer of the Year competitions, bringing a wealth of experience across travel, wildlife and landscape photography.

Paul’s work has appeared in The Sunday Times, The Telegraph and The Guardian.

In this illustrated talk, Paul will share the stories behind his images from around the world, together with the techniques and creative approach behind them. You’ll leave with fresh ideas, practical tips and plenty of inspiration for your own photography.
